Follow the progress of the construction of Raiponce Tangled Spin ride at Disney Adventure World in Disneyland Paris. The latest developments in the progress of this project are available at the top of this article and the general presentation at the bottom.
The attraction is beginning to take on more volume with the recent erection of its easily identifiable metal structure. It still needs to be covered and decorated over the coming months. The tip of the structure is visible, pre-assembled on its side. It will soon be hoisted to the top of the building. Work on the queuing area is continuing.
In the foreground of the global aerial view below, the metal star encircled by a concrete disc will form the base of the attraction. Now that the mechanical structure is complete, it shouldn’t be long before the building goes up around it.
To access the Adventure Bay lake, visitors will take the central Adventure Way promenade. Along this promenade will be the new Raiponce Tangled Spin attraction, inspired by the animated film Rapunzel. This family attraction will invite visitors to ‘twirl’ on board gondolas. Young and old alike will be plunged into the middle of a décor that pays homage to the famous lantern scene. It’s an experience based on the same principle as Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups at Disneyland Park. Its opaque roof and the many lanterns that will serve as backdrops promise a beautiful play of light. A small pond will complete the attraction’s landscape décor, offering different reflections as night falls. The three usual queues (standard, Disney Premier Access and person with reduced mobility) will be available.
