I tried to get recruited at the Avengers Campus during the day reserved only for Annual Passes. It was an opportunity to discover a little more calmly and in depth the famous new land located in the Walt Disney Studios.
It’s time for me to give you my opinion on this land. Here we go.
The first thing that strikes you as you enter the land are the huge, impressive buildings overlooking the Quinjet in the distance, as well as ‘Friday’ (the artificial intelligence).
At our feet, the ground is splendid with small coloured squares that change colour as we go along.
Details in the restaurants are totally immersive. Pym Kitchen and its laboratory are stunningly realistic.
The Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure queue is full of all kinds of details. It’s quite pleasant (for once, you might say) to wander around in a queue.
Let’s not even mention the Quinjet which stands proudly in the centre of the land.
Small disappointment perhaps for the queue of the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force attraction which, apart from Iron Man, is rather sloppy for my taste.
Let’s talk about the attractions: only one new attraction and one old one brought back to life.
Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure is extraordinary, not only because of its unique experience, but also because of the splendid scenery. For me, this attraction was a real surprise.
A little tip: join the gym to prepare yourself, because I can assure you that my arm hurt for a few days because of the repeated movement of a backhoe.
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is nothing more or less than the Aerosmith Roller Coaster in Avengers mode. Nice, yes, but I still have one regret. Beyond the scenery of the lanes, which I mentioned above, I totally regret the animations during the ride. We simply don’t see them, which gives us the impression that we’re doing the attraction only in the dark. It’s a shame.
So I say yes.
Crazy decorations, different atmosphere in each restaurant, quite qualitative meals. There is something for everyone, from the buffet to the simple hot dog.
This is really my biggest crush. I didn’t expect so many characters. Some of them are just walking around the land looking for future recruits.
When one character disappears, another one appears. Whether it’s animations, fights or just a quick hello, you’ll never be alone during your visit to the Avengers Campus.
For me, that’s a real plus. Hopefully we’ll even see more characters in future Marvel movies.
Unfortunately, I was unable to test the Hero Training Center due to its success. I did not manage to sign up for the meeting via the Disneyland Paris application.
In short, for me, this land is an extreme success. I can’t wait to go back.
Here are my top 5 positives and my flop 5 negatives so you can make up your mind before committing yourself as a recruit.
