A host of international celebrities were on hand over the weekend of 3 and 4 February to celebrate the official inauguration of the Kingdom of Mickey’s flagship hotel.
After passing through the doors of the sublime lobby, Virginie Efira, Lucas Bravo, Mélanie Laurent, Ana Girardot and fashion designer Julien Fournié were able to pose alongside the Princesses and Princes of Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Then this magnificent lobby was transformed into a princely dance floor to present a Royal Ball to the guests. The choreography was modern and specially designed for this beautiful event, which brought together Cinderella and her Prince Charming, Snow White and her Prince and Belle and her Prince, who performed elegantly to a medley of famous Disney music. Not forgetting, of course, our two favourite mice Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who took part in the festivities to everyone’s delight!
Isabelle Adjani discovered the majestic Suite Princière La Belle et la Bête, while celebrities such as singer Eddy de Preto met Mickey Mouse as well as Donald and Daisy. It was in this enchanted atmosphere that all the guests were able to attend the official inauguration.
The festivities were, of course, a unique opportunity for guests to discover all that this iconic hotel has to offer: an unrivalled sense of hospitality, a refined culinary experience and an exceptional range of entertainment, while enjoying an immersive experience inspired by Disney’s royal stories.
Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, also took to the floor as part of this unforgettable weekend, saying “We have been hard at work these past years to reimagine what this iconic landmark could look and feel like. We rebuilt everything from the inside out, and today… we are so proud to share with you this unique experience, combining an unprecedented level of immersive storytelling and world-class hospitality, thanks to the dedication of our wonderful Cast Members and Imagineers.”
This fairytale-like ceremony ended in the most magical way, as the iconic façade of Disneyland Hotel came to life during a unique projection show designed exclusively for the occasion. Using her magic wand, Fairy Godmother brought the special guests on a journey to the heart of the most beautiful Disney royal stories through a montage of animated moments celebrating Disney Animation movies such as Aladdin, Cinderella, Moana and Frozen.

Gourmets be warned, as a third restaurant will soon be opening at the Disneyland Hotel! The cuisine will be created in collaboration with an internationally renowned French chef.
