New ways to enjoy and discover the magic, starting with the return of the Disney Villains for the Halloween season and the eagerly awaited arrival of the Christmas Season

Two seasons for a magical end of the year at Disneyland Paris

Disney’s Halloween Festival with “Selfies Spots” experiences from 26 September to 1 November 2020

Disney’s Halloween Festival will return starting 26 September with exclusive “Selfie Spots,” a new way of interacting with some of your favourite Disney friends. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto and others will be dressed in their most wickedly colourful Halloween costumes and ready to share spooky moments with guests throughout the Parks.

In the heart of Fantasyland, the Meet Mickey Mouse theatre will be decorated in the colours of the season to welcome guests to take an unforgettable selfie with Mickey Mouse and friends. Disney Villains like Maleficent, Ursula and Captain Hook will take over many iconic park locations to create memorable experiences. Starting 1 October, Disney Villains like Jafar and Cruella de Vil will invade the Studio Theatre at Walt Disney Studios Park to strike a pose with guests surrounded by a new Halloween décor.

The bravest Guests can also discover or rediscover Disneyland Paris’ spookiest attractions. They can shriek in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Walt Disney Studios Park, seated in the service elevator of the infamous Hollywood Tower Hotel, facing 13-story freefalls and many more surprises. In Disneyland Park, guests will be invited to join spirits and ghouls who enjoy nothing more than feasting and dancing in the dining room of Phantom Manor, nestled in a dark corner of Frontierland.

During the entire season, Disneyland Park will be decorated in its most spooktacular Halloween decor, from Main Street, U.S.A., to Sleeping Beauty Castle and beyond. Jack ’o’ lanterns and ghoulish ghosts will line the streets, and in Frontierland, guests will discover a colourful Mexican-inspired festival complete with lively music and prancing skeletons.

The celebration continues with a range of enchanting sweet and savoury flavours shaped like Disney Villains, and Halloween-themed merchandise will take over shops throughout the resort. For the entire month, Halloween will be celebrated at Disneyland Paris with a witch’s hatful of surprises to discover in the Parks. Even Disney Village will be taken over by pumpkins and ghosts!

Disney’s Enchanted Christmas from 7 November 2020 to 10 January 2021

Some people say it’s never too early to talk about Christmas. That’s good because the magic of Disney’s Enchanted Christmas will arrive on 7 November 2020 and will continue until 10 January 2021.

Wrapped in the festive colours of Christmas, Disneyland Paris is a truly magical setting for this merriest of seasons. The glittering streets of Main Street U.S.A. and the giant Christmas tree twinkling in Town Square will be back as snowflakes fall on Main Street U.S.A. and fairy lights illuminate the way to Sleeping Beauty Castle.

“Selfies Spots” will be taken over by winter magic as beloved Disney friends* decked in their jolliest Christmas outfits, including Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and even Stitch with his adorable bobble hat will surprise guests.

At Meet Mickey Mouse, guests will discover a magical setting entirely redecorated in seasonal colours where they will be able to take magical selfies with Mickey Mouse dressed in his finest festive attire.

At Videopolis, in Discoveryland, guests will also have the privilege of visiting Santa’s festive workshop and capturing a precious photo. Every day through 25 December, guests can wander into this wintry wonderland filled with the magic of Christmas and capture a selfie with Santa before he sets off in his sleigh for his gift-giving tour of the world.

In Walt Disney Studios Park, the Animagique theatre will open its doors to guests for a magical selfie with Mickey Mouse and other stars from the Mickey and the Magician show. Belle, Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother are among the apprentices who could make an appearance alongside the skillful sorcerer.

Many surprises will be available for guests to make memorable moments with friends and family as beloved Disney Characters and Disney Princesses will make surprise appearances that will fill them with Christmas cheer.

For a unique Christmas experience, guests can add an extra touch of magic to their stay by booking a room decorated for the season at select Disney Hotels**. At their request, the room will be decorated with festive ornaments and a twinkling tree with special Disney gifts for the whole family.

Christmas magic will also continue in the sparkling streets of Disney Village, where beautifully decorated boutiques and restaurants will stay open after the Parks close and charming wooden chalets will offer delicious sweet and savoury treats throughout Disney’s Enchanted Christmas.

*Disney Characters will be escorted through the Parks at different moments and on different days throughout the season. Their presence at any precise time or location can therefore not be guaranteed.

Disneyland Paris is currently offering is guests the possibility to change or cancel their booking with full refund anytime up to 7 days before their arrival date (excluding insurance and transport fees). Further information can be found at www.disneylandparis.com.

Limited attendance with advanced reservation system

In order to maintain physical distancing in line with recommendations from the French government and health authorities, attendance at Disneyland Paris is currently limited each day.

Guests who have booked a Hotel + Ticket package organised by Euro Disney Associés S.A.S. or Euro Disney Vacances S.A.S do not need to register. They will be able to enter the Disney Parks each day of their stay.

Guests who have a dated Ticket, also do not need to register and will be able to enter the Parks on the day indicated on their Ticket.

Guests who booked a Ticket via a third-party operator should check directly with their operator whether or not they need to register.

Guests who have a non-dated Ticket, or an Annual Pass, have to register in advance on the new online reservation system [ link] to ensure admission to the Disney Parks on the day of their choice.

Health and Safety Measures

As the well-being of our guests and Cast Members is a top priority, Disneyland Paris’ phased reopening takes a deliberate approach with limited attendance, physical distancing and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting measures aligned with guidance from the French government and health authorities.

The wearing of face coverings for guests ages eleven and older, Cast Members and third-party operators is required.

A touch of Disneyland Paris from home

Disneyland Paris to celebrates its heritage from 19-20 September

For the third year in a row, Disneyland Paris will celebrate its heritage and showcase the creativity that goes on behind the scenes as part of Heritage Days. This year, the opportunity will be virtual and accessible to all online. Through exclusive videos, guests will be able to discover the secrets of the costumes worn by famous Audio-Animatronics® figures and the artistic influences of Disneyland Paris through a short guided video tour of Disneyland Park. The tour provides an unprecedented spotlight on the technical know-how inherent to the resort. Additionally, via Disneyland Paris’ Instagram, guests can discover an exhibition dedicated to past and present shows at Disneyland Paris, with many costumes and models presented by one of our Show Directors, to which they will have the unique opportunity to ask questions and have the potentially answered in the handle’s Instagram stories. The videos will be available at the Disneyland Paris at Home website from 19 September.

Imagineering in a Box, a one-of-a-king learning experience

Imagineering in a Box is a series of free, high-quality online interactive lessons in theme park design and engineering, designed to give a behind-the-scenes peek into Imagineering’s development process.

The courses are delivered through the Khan Academy, a non-profit organization with more than 18 million learners a month and a mission to change education for the better by providing free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.

This program combines 32 videos of Disney Imagineers, real-world case studies, and lots of interactive activities to give Disneyland Paris guests and their families the opportunity to dream and design their very own theme park experience.

Imagineering in a Box shares with learners of all ages the unique ways that science, technology, engineering, and math can be combined with creativity and design to create larger-than-life entertainment for millions at Disney Parks around the world.

This program is available in English, FrenchSpanish and Portuguese.
